LP Photographs
Doug Paisley's new record is called 'Starter Home.'

Doug Paisley's new record is a quiet beauty. The Canadian musician will remind you of Guy Clark, John Prine and Gordon Lightfoot, even as he puts his own stamp on a long tradition of singer-songwriters.

He recorded the new songs over a few years at several home studios in Toronto. Paisley will be at The Cat's Cradle Back Room in Carrboro tonight.

You can hear more music from Doug online at , on Alexa and on 91.5 HD2.

Eric Hodge hosts ÉîÒ¹¸£Àû’s broadcast of Morning Edition, and files reports for the North Carolina news segments of the broadcast. He started at the station in 2004 doing fill-in work on weekends and All Things Considered.
