Monique will graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2017 with majors in Southern studies and women鈥檚 and gender studies.
As part of the Robertson scholarship, Monique is also completing a degree at Duke University in documentary studies. After graduation, Monique will pursue a career in digital storytelling. She aspires to tell stories about the changing American South, women, and the LGBTQ community.
